Liability and Parent Responsibility Notice

By using this website, purchasing or downloading Adventure Club materials, or participating in any Adventure Club-inspired group, activity, meeting, or event, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

Parent-Led Program

Adventure Club is a parent-led program. The materials, resources, ideas, guides, printables, badges, challenges, and activity suggestions provided through this website are intended for educational, recreational, and inspirational purposes only.

Adventure Club does not organize, supervise, manage, oversee, or control any local group, meeting, outing, event, activity, transportation, location, leader, parent, child, or participant.

Each Adventure Club group is independently organized and managed by parents, guardians, or local leaders.

Parent and Guardian Responsibility

Parents and guardians are solely responsible for the youth in their care at all times.

By using Adventure Club materials or participating in any related activity, parents and guardians agree that they are responsible for:

• supervising their own children

• determining whether an activity is safe and appropriate

• choosing suitable locations

• providing proper equipment and supplies

• monitoring weather, terrain, tools, transportation, and other risks

• addressing medical needs, allergies, behavior, and emergency situations

• following all local laws, rules, and safety guidelines

• ensuring proper adult supervision during all meetings and activities

No child should participate in an activity without the knowledge, permission, and supervision of a parent or guardian.

Assumption of Risk

Adventure Club activities may include indoor activities, outdoor activities, physical challenges, tools, crafts, group meetings, travel, nature exploration, service projects, and other experiences that involve inherent risks.

By participating, families understand and accept that accidents, injuries, illnesses, property damage, conflicts, or other unexpected situations may occur.

Participation is voluntary. Each parent, guardian, leader, and participant assumes all risks connected with the use of Adventure Club materials or participation in any Adventure Club-inspired activity, meeting, outing, or event.

No Guarantee of Safety

Adventure Club makes no guarantee that any activity, meeting, event, location, leader, group, material, instruction, or suggestion will be safe, suitable, or appropriate for every child, family, or circumstance.

All activities should be adapted to the age, ability, maturity, health, skill level, and needs of the children participating.

Parents and guardians should use their own judgment and seek professional guidance when needed.

Limitation of Liability

Adventure Club, its owners, creators, authors, contributors, affiliates, website operators, and related parties shall not be held liable for any injury, accident, illness, loss, damage, expense, legal claim, conflict, misconduct, negligence, unsafe condition, or other issue arising from:

• use of this website

• use of Adventure Club materials

• participation in any group, meeting, activity, outing, or event

• actions or decisions of parents, guardians, leaders, volunteers, children, or participants

• transportation to or from any activity

• use of tools, equipment, supplies, or facilities

• outdoor conditions, weather, terrain, animals, plants, or natural hazards

• lack of supervision or improper supervision

• failure to follow safety precautions or local laws

To the fullest extent permitted by law, users agree to release, defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Adventure Club and its related parties from any and all claims, damages, liabilities, losses, costs, or expenses arising out of participation in any Adventure Club-related activity or use of Adventure Club materials.

Independent Groups and Leaders

Any parent, guardian, volunteer, or leader who uses Adventure Club materials to form or run a group does so independently.

Adventure Club is not responsible for the actions, decisions, qualifications, background, conduct, safety practices, or supervision provided by any independent group, parent, guardian, leader, volunteer, or participant.
